Nest FAQs
What is a Nest (Beta)?
A Nest is a collection of products you create on Hummingbirds. You can use Nests to organize products you like, save products you'd like to try, and share recommendations with others.
Does adding a product to a Nest save the Offer?
No.
Adding a product to a Nest does not save its Offer. If you'd like to redeem an Offer, you'll need to save the Offer directly to My Offers.
Does adding a product to a Nest reserve an Offer?
No.
Adding a product to a Nest does not reserve Offer inventory. Offers can still expire or run out after a product has been added to a Nest.
Can I add products that don't have active Offers?
Yes.
Products can be added to a Nest whether or not they currently have an active Offer.
Do Nests expire?
No.
Nests do not expire and remain available even if Offers associated with products in the Nest expire or become unavailable.
What happens when an Offer in my Nest expires?
The product will remain in your Nest, but the expired Offer will no longer be available for redemption.
If a new Offer is added to that product in the future, it will automatically appear on the product.
Are Nests the same as My Offers?
No.
My Offers contains Offers you've saved for redemption.
Nests are collections of products you've chosen to organize and share.
Can I create more than one Nest?
Yes.
You can create multiple Nests and organize products however you'd like.
Can I share my Nest with other people?
Yes.
Every Nest has its own share link that can be shared with others.
Can people in another city use my Nest?
Yes.
Nest links work nationally. Recipients can redeem active Offers if they are able to find an Eligible Retailer that carries the product.
Can I earn money from my Nest?
Yes.
When someone redeems an active Offer through your Nest link, you earn a Commission.
How much can I earn from a Nest?
At launch, Commissions are $1 per redemption by a unique user.
Do I need to save or redeem an Offer before sharing it?
No.
You can share a Nest and earn Commissions without saving or redeeming the Offers yourself.
Will I be notified when someone redeems through my Nest link?
Yes. Each week, we’ll send an email digest to you if you’ve earned any commissions. You’ll also see updates in your Offer Wallet, each hour.
Will I be notified when an Offer in my Nest expires?
No.
Hummingbirds only sends Offer notifications for Offers you have saved. Products in your Nest do not generate expiration notifications.
Can I use Nests without participating in Campaigns?
Yes!
Nests are part of the Offers experience and can be used by any registered user of the Hummingbirds platform. Participating in Campaigns is not required.
Do I need a social media account to create or share a Nest?
No.
Any registered user of the Hummingbirds platform can create and share Nests. No social media account is required.
