Why Didn't I Earn a Commission?

If you shared an Offer or Nest but didn't receive a Commission, there are a few possible reasons.

In most cases, it simply means the redemption process hasn't been completed yet or the Offer is no longer eligible for Commissions.

You earn a Commission when someone:

1. Opens your shared Offer or Nest link

2. Registers or logs into Hummingbirds

3. Saves the Offer

4. Purchases the product

5. Uploads a receipt

6. Successfully redeems the Offer

A Commission is only earned after the redemption is completed and approved.

At launch, Commissions are $1 per redemption by a unique user.

This is the most common reason.

Someone may have clicked your link, saved the Offer, or even purchased the product, but you won't earn a Commission until their redemption has been successfully completed.

If their receipt is still pending review, your Commission may not appear until that review is complete.

Commissions can only be earned while an Offer is active.

If an Offer expires or runs out of available redemptions, new redemptions through that Offer can no longer earn Commissions.

This is true even if someone previously clicked your link.

To redeem an Offer, users must have a Hummingbirds account.

If someone clicks your shared link but never completes registration, they won't be able to redeem the Offer and no Commission will be earned.

Clicking a link alone does not earn a Commission.

The recipient must complete the full redemption process before a Commission is awarded.

Commissions are only earned on successful Offer redemptions.

If the recipient's receipt is denied, no Commission will be generated for that redemption.

When someone successfully redeems an Offer through your shared Offer or Nest link, you'll receive a notification and the Commission will be added to your Offers Wallet.

Commissions appear in your Offers Wallet alongside cash back earned from your own Offer redemptions.

Your Wallet combines:

• Cash back from your Offer redemptions

• Commissions earned through shared Offer links

• Commissions earned through shared Nest links

Commissions are credited when a redemption through your shared Offer or Nest link is successfully completed.

If the recipient’s receipt is pending review, your Commission will not be credited until the redemption is approved.

Once the redemption is approved, the Commission will be added to your Offers Wallet.

The more successful redemptions that happen through your shared links, the more Commissions you can earn.
