Can I Promote an Offer Within a Campaign?

Sometimes!

Whether you can promote an Offer within your Campaign content depends on whether the Offer and Campaign are focused on the same product.

If a Brand is running both a Campaign and an Offer for the exact same product (this means exact same flavor or variant too!), you're generally welcome to mention the Offer in your Campaign content unless the Campaign Brief says otherwise.

Some Brands intentionally run Campaigns and Offers for the same product at the same time. In these situations, the Campaign helps create awareness while the Offer gives people an opportunity to try the product themselves.

As always, if the Campaign Brief includes specific instructions, those instructions take priority.

Some Brands may have multiple products available on Hummingbirds at the same time.

For example:

• A Campaign may focus on Product A

• An Offer may be available for Product B

Even though both opportunities are from the same Brand, they are focused on different products.

If the Offer is for a different product than the one featured in your Campaign, please do not promote that Offer within your Campaign content unless the Campaign Brief specifically instructs you to do so.

Campaigns and Offers serve different purposes.

Sometimes a Brand is looking for content focused on a specific product. Other times, they're focused on driving product trial through an Offer. And sometimes they're doing both for the same product.

To make sure Brands receive the content they requested, Campaign content should remain focused on the product outlined in the Campaign Brief.

Don't assume that all products from the same Brand qualify.

Offers and Campaigns are tied to specific products, not just the Brand itself.

Before mentioning an Offer in your Campaign content, confirm that:

• The Campaign and Offer feature the exact same product

• The Campaign Brief does not provide different instructions

When in doubt, follow the Campaign Brief.

Absolutely.

If you're participating in a Campaign and there's also an active Offer available, you may participate in both opportunities as long as you meet the requirements for each.

Campaign participation and Offer redemption are separate experiences on Hummingbirds.

If the Campaign Brief includes instructions about whether an Offer should or should not be mentioned, those instructions take priority over any general guidance.

When no additional guidance is provided, focus your content on the product featured in the Campaign and only reference Offers that apply to that same product.
