How to Navigate the Platform

Don't know where to start on the platform? We'll walk you through each step to learn how to navigate your campaign dashboard and what to do in each area. Here is a visual walkthrough deck that guides you step by step through the platform—from signing up and expressing interest to participating in and uploading content for your first campaign!

Navigating Hummingbirds

Ready to view campaigns in your area?

The Discover Campaigns tab is where you will view new campaigns. It's the central hub for connecting creators like you with brands and businesses for promotional opportunities.

To see new campaigns simply click on the “Discover Campaigns” tab in the navigation and begin seeing the campaigns available in your area.

Browse & Apply

  • This area displays all the campaigns available in your market.

  • Each campaign listing provides an overview of the brand, campaign headline, perk value, and any specific dates or times for the campaign.

  • Clicking 'See Details' opens the campaign, providing more in-depth information. Here, you'll find details about the perk you'll receive (such as gift cards, tickets, or products), any specific requirements for the campaign, and when and where the campaign is taking place. The type of content expected for the campaign, such as an Instagram story and in-feed grid post, will also be outlined, along with any content suggestions or requirements from the brand.

  • If you're interested in a campaign, click 'I’m Interested'. See how to express interest in a campaign for help with this process.

Recent Applications

  • This section shows all the campaigns you've expressed interest in.

  • You still have the ability to view the details of the campaign as well as remove your interest if you no longer want to be considered.

Confirm

  • Once a brand confirms your participation in a campaign, you will receive an email and text notification asking you to confirm your spot.

  • Once you login to the platform, you'll see that campaign now in the "Selected For" section of your dashboard where you will confirm or decline your spot.

  • You have 48 hours from when you were selected to confirm or decline your spot before you're removed from the campaign.

Active

  • This is where you'll see all the campaigns you're actively participating in, with details such as content due dates, points of contact for any issues, and campaign specific instructions.

  • You'll click into each campaign to upload your content. See help getting content uploaded for more information.

Complete

  • This is where you'll see all the campaigns you've completed and successfully uploaded content for.

If you're new to Hummingbirds, look for the "Your First Step on Hummingbirds" campaign designed specifically for new users. This will help you get started and understand how the platform works.

You must connect your social media accounts to the platform to fully participate in campaigns. You can also find your personal referral link on the home page if you'd like to invite friends to join Hummingbirds.
