What Should I Do If I Can No Longer Participate In A Campaign?
If you were selected for a campaign and have already confirmed your spot but something comes up, please email help@hummingbirds.com as soon as possible so our team can help.
We know that life happens. Our goal is for both Birds and brands to have positive, smooth experiences, and clear communication goes a long way in making that happen.
Community Campaigns
For community campaigns, missing one isn’t the end of the world. If you know you can’t complete it, please reach out to us right away. We can help remove you from the campaign so it doesn’t impact your completion rate.
Missing one or two community campaigns is no big deal—but repeated misses could affect your ability to be selected for future campaigns.
Brand Campaigns
Brand campaigns work a little differently. Since you’re often times receiving funds to purchase products/ perks and create content, the expectation is that you do follow through and complete them. If something unexpected comes up, let us know as soon as possible so we can help troubleshoot or find a solution.
Maintaining Good Standing On The Platform
When you confirm a campaign, brands are planning on you participating as agreed. If a confirmed campaign is not completed and we do not hear from you, it can negatively impact your completion rate. Repeated instances of not completing confirmed campaigns may impact your chances of being selected for future campaigns.
If something unexpected prevents you from participating, reaching out early allows us to explore options like extensions or alternative solutions when available. We’re always happy to help when we’re looped in.
Please note that there is currently no self-service option to withdraw from a confirmed campaign in the app, website, or by using the Chatbot. This helps us maintain reliability for brands and creators alike. The best thing you can do is communicate early and honestly so we can support you.
