How to Request a City Change

If you need to update your city, reach out to us at help@hummingbirds.com, and we'll assist you with the process.

Important: You must complete all current campaigns before we can update your city. Changing your city while you still have active campaigns can cause a glitch in the platform, potentially removing you from your ongoing campaigns.

Additionally, don't forget to update your mailing address on the platform. This ensures you receive any products for campaigns you may participate in after changing your city.

Why Can't I Change My City Myself?

We understand that some hummingbirds move between different cities frequently. However, to maintain the integrity of active campaigns, our system currently requires all campaigns to be fully completed before a city change can be processed. If a city change happens while you still have active campaigns, it may result in you being unintentionally removed from those campaigns. By assisting you directly, we ensure your campaigns are not affected.

Why Can't I See Campaigns in Other Cities?

Brands choose which cities they want their campaigns to run in based on their marketing goals. Some reasons a campaign may not be available in your city include:

  • Brands often aim to get as many hummingbirds in a specific city talking about them at the same time.

  • Some campaigns are tied to specific retailers, meaning they are only available in cities where that retailer has a presence.

  • Some campaigns may require in-store visits in specific markets.

If a campaign isn't available in your city, don't worry! Keep an eye out for future opportunities, as brands often launch campaigns in multiple locations over time.
