What If My Campaign Post Gets Taken Down by Instagram?

Edited

It’s rare, but sometimes Instagram (Meta) may take down a campaign post — especially for content that includes alcohol or THC products.

🍷🌿 If Your Post Featured Alcohol or THC:

  • Meta may flag and remove your post due to its content policies.

  • For these types of campaigns, we always recommend that you download your post immediately after publishingand keep a copy saved just in case.

  • If your post gets taken down:

    • Do not repost it

    • Instead, email us at help@hummingbirds.com and send us the downloaded file so we can share it with the brand

📢 If Your Post Did Not Feature Alcohol or THC:

  • Please reach out to us and let us know what happened.

  • We recommend you also appeal the decision directly with Meta.

  • Unless your content violated Meta’s terms and conditions (in which case, it shouldn't be used for campaigns), takedowns like this are usually a mistake and can be reversed.

We’re here to support you and work with you through any platform hiccups. Thanks for keeping us in the loop!
