How to Upload Stories to Hummingbirds (and What to Do If You Miss the Window)

We suggest hopping into the platform immediately after posting a story and adding it. For best results:

  • Ensure your story meets all campaign requirements.

  • Make sure it’s more than just a reshare of your Grid post.

⚠️ Note: The platform only displays and tracks your 4 most recent story posts. Stories beyond that limit will not be visible or counted in your content submission.

How It Works

Once your story is live on Instagram, you have 24 hours to upload it to your campaign in the Hummingbirds platform while it's still active.

What If I Miss the 24-Hour Window?

Don’t worry — you’ve got options:

✅ Option 1: Repost Your Story & Upload It

  • Repost the same story to Instagram.

  • Then upload the new version within 24 hours.

Why we recommend this: It allows the story + its metrics to be tracked and shown in your Hummingbirds portfolio — which helps with selection for future campaigns!

🛠 Option 2: Contact Us for Manual Completion

  • If you prefer not to repost, just email us your original story link from your Instagram Archive.

  • Our tech team will manually mark your campaign as complete.

Note: It will show as complete in your profile within a week, but your content won’t be displayed in your public-facing portfolio.
