What Does “Request Review” Mean When My Content Is Past Due?

If your campaign deadline has passed, you may see a message at the top of your campaign page that says “Content Past Due” along with a button to “Request Review.”

Here’s what it means and when to use it 👇

What Does Request Review Mean?

• The Request Review button appears the day after your content is due and remains available for 30 days.

• Approved reviews will mark your campaign as “excused.”

• It won’t remove the campaign from your profile, but it also won’t count against your completion rate.

• This helps us (and brands) understand that something came up outside your control — while still keeping an accurate record of your campaign history.

🕓 If You Still Plan to Complete Your Content

Please do not click “Request Review.”

This feature is not for creators who are simply posting late.

Instead:

✅ When You Should Request a Review

You should only click “Request Review” if you’re unable to complete the campaign due to a serious, approved reason — for example:

• A death in the family

• A major life event or illness that prevents you from completing content

• Another significant, unexpected hardship

If you’ve already been in touch with our team about your situation, submitting a “Request Review” ensures your campaign status is updated accordingly.

🚫 When Not to Use Request Review

Please don’t use this feature for situations like:

• Not liking the product

• Being too busy or forgetting to post

• Not finding the product in-store

• Changing your mind about participating

These situations aren’t eligible for an approved review request. Instead, reach out to us directly so we can help troubleshoot or find another solution together.

In short:

If you’re still planning to post — ask for an extension.

If you can’t complete due to serious life circumstances — request a review.
