Getting Paid and Perks with Hummingbirds

Hummingbirds offers two separate ways to earn through the platform: Offers and Campaigns.

Because these products work differently, the way you earn and receive payments is different for each.

With Offers, you earn:

• Cash back when you redeem an Offer

• Commissions when someone redeems an Offer through your shared Offer or Nest link

Offers earnings are tracked in your Offers Wallet.

With Campaigns, you earn:

• A Perk for participating in a Campaign and completing the required content

Campaign Perks are provided separately and do not appear in your Offers Wallet. Instead, the Campaign Perk delivery method will be described within the campaign. Your perk might be a product, tickets to an event, code to order product(s) at no cost or most commonly, funds added to a reloadable gift card via the Whistle platform.

Offers and Campaigns are completely separate products.

Participating in one does not affect your ability to participate in the other.

You can:

• Use Offers only

• Participate in Campaigns only

• Use both Offers and Campaigns

Your earnings, activity, and participation in one product do not impact the other.

Offers are designed to help you discover products, earn cash back, and share products with others.

When you:

1. Save an Offer

2. Purchase the product at an Eligible Retailer

3. Upload a photo of your physical receipt

4. Have your receipt approved

You receive cash back.

Cash back amounts vary by product.

You can also earn Commissions by sharing:

• Offer links

• Nest links

When someone redeems an active Offer through your shared link, you earn a Commission.

At launch, Commissions are $1 per redemption by a unique user.

All Offers earnings are stored in your Offers Wallet.

Your wallet combines:

• Cash back from your own Offer redemptions

• Commissions earned through shared Offer and Nest links

These earnings appear together as a single balance.

To withdraw money from your Offers Wallet:

• Your balance must be at least $20

• A debit card must be connected

• Withdrawals are all-or-nothing

Partial withdrawals are not available at launch.

Campaigns are opportunities to partner with Brands and create content on Instagram. You must apply and be selected in order to participate in a Campaign.

If you're selected for a Campaign, you'll receive a Perk in exchange for completing the Campaign requirements.

A Perk is the compensation you receive for participating in a Campaign.

Perks vary by Campaign and may include:

• Gift card funds

• Shipped products

• Promo codes to order products

• Tickets

• Other Campaign-specific rewards

Details about the Perk are always included in the Campaign Brief.

Campaign Perks are processed separately from the Offers Wallet.

At launch, Campaign payouts are handled through Whistle and do not appear anywhere in the Hummingbirds wallet. This may evolve over time!
