How Do I Redeem an Offer?

Redeeming an Offer is one way to earn on the Hummingbirds platform!

To successfully redeem an Offer, you'll need to follow the redemption process in the correct order:

1. Save the Offer

2. Purchase the product at an Eligible Retailer

3. Have your physical receipt with you and tap “Upload Receipt” to snap a pic

4. Have your receipt approved

5. Receive cash back in your Offers Wallet

Before purchasing a product, save the Offer to your My Offers section by clicking the “Save Offer” button.

Saving an Offer is required before redemption.

Important: Saving an Offer does not reserve inventory. Offers can expire or run out after they've been saved.

Before heading to the store, we recommend confirming that the Offer is still active.

Purchase the product in person, inside an Eligible Retailer listed on the Offer.

Offers currently require an in-store purchase that provides a physical receipt. Online ordering, delivery services, curbside or store pickup, and retailer app purchases that generate digital receipts do not qualify.

Before purchasing, double-check:

• You're purchasing the correct product

• The size, flavor, variety, or version matches the Offer details

• The retailer is listed as an Eligible Retailer for that Offer

• The Offer is still active

Only purchases that meet all of the Offer requirements are eligible for cash back.

After purchasing, keep your physical receipt with you.

Visit My Offers, find the Offer you’re redeeming, and tap “Upload Receipt.” This will open your camera so you can snap a pic of your physical receipt.

Camera roll photos cannot be used.

When snapping your receipt:

• Lay the receipt flat.

• Make sure the entire receipt is visible.

• Make sure the receipt is easy to read.

• Keep your physical receipt after uploading.

Hold onto your receipt until the cash back is in your Offers Wallet. Once your cash back lands, you’ll know your redemption has cleared.

For the best experience:

• Upload your receipt as soon as possible after your purchase

• Make sure the entire receipt is visible

• Make sure all text is readable

Once your receipt is uploaded, it will be reviewed.

Some receipts may be approved automatically, while others may require you resubmit the receipt & provide additional information or review by a member of the Hummingbirds team.

If additional information is needed, we'll let you know this in the platform by indicating that the upload “Needs Attention”.

If your receipt is sent for manual review, a member of the Hummingbirds team will review it within 3 business days. You'll receive updates by email.

Once your receipt is approved, your cash back will be added to your Offers Wallet.

Cash back amounts vary by product and are displayed on each Offer.

Offers have limited inventory and can expire or run out.

Saving an Offer adds it to My Offers, but does not guarantee availability.

If an Offer is running low, you may see a “Going Fast” indicator on the Offer.

If you’ve already purchased a product, don’t wait to upload your receipt.

Offers can expire or become unavailable, and inactive Offers can no longer be redeemed. Uploading shortly after your purchase helps avoid issues.

You’ll need your physical receipt with you when you tap “Upload Receipt,” so don’t throw it away after your shopping trip.

After uploading, continue holding onto your receipt until the cash back is in your Offers Wallet.

If you purchased multiple qualifying products during the same shopping trip, one physical receipt can cover every saved Offer it matches.

You’ll still need to upload the receipt separately for each Offer you want to redeem.

We recommend completing all of your matching Offer uploads at the same time while you have the receipt with you.
