Guide to Completing Your Profile 

Want help to fill out your profile? Here's everything you'll need!

Head to the Sign-Up Page

Go to https://app.hummingbirds.com/ and click I’m A Content Creator

You’ll see a few simple fields to fill out before joining:

  • First & Last Name – Enter your full name as you’d like it to appear on the platform.

  • Email Address – Use the email you check most often; this is where campaign updates will be sent.

  • Password – Must be at least 8 characters long.

  • Location – Select your city to join the right local Hummingbirds community.

  • Profile Picture – Upload a clear picture of yourself!

  • Birthday – This helps us know your age group for campaign eligibility. Don’t worry, it’s private and never shared publicly.

  • Gender – Some campaigns are designed with specific audiences in mind, so this helps brands tailor opportunities.

  • Phone Number – This is used only for campaign reminders and updates. It’s not visible to other hummingbirds or brands!

  • Mailing Address – Add your current mailing address so brands can send you perks for shipped product campaigns that require them. Your address is kept private and is only shared with the Hummingbirds team and brands you’re selected for!

  • About Bios (Important Update) Bios are an outdated profile feature and are no longer supported or used on the Hummingbirds platform. If you already have a bio saved on your profile and would like it removed, feel free to reach out to our support team and we’ll be happy to take care of it for you!

Instagram Connection – Next, connect your Instagram account to the platform so we can verify your posts and track your campaign content. You can follow this step-by-step guide: https://hummingbirds.frontkb.com/en/articles/3737985

If you're having trouble uploading your profile picture, try these tips:

  • Use a desktop computer instead of a mobile device

  • Reduce the file size of your image (it must be less than 5MB)

  • Ensure your image is in jpeg, jpg, or png format

  • Try using an image compression tool if needed

  • Clear your browser cache or try a different web browser

If you need to update your account address, you can do so through your profile settings. This allows you to maintain your existing profile while ensuring your location information is current. Your full address will only be shared with the Hummingbirds team and brands you're selected for, not publicly visible.

To update your address:

  1. Log in to your Hummingbirds account

  2. Navigate to the 'My Profile' section

  3. Click “Mailing Address” and edit 

  4. Save to your profile

If you're experiencing issues creating or saving your profile, try these additional steps:

  1. Clear your browser cache and cookies

  2. Try accessing the platform using a different web browser

  3. Ensure you have a stable internet connection

  4. Fill out all required fields

  5. If buttons are unresponsive, refresh the page and re-enter your information

  6. Try logging out completely, then log back in and attempt to edit your profile

If problems persist, there may be a technical issue with the platform that requires attention from the development team.

Important: If you're having trouble submitting content to your profile, please check your email (including spam folder) for detailed instructions we've sent on how to properly upload and submit content. If you continue to face issues after following these instructions, don't hesitate to contact our support team.

Regarding location settings: Our platform currently supports only one primary location. If you participate in campaigns across multiple cities, select the location where you'll be most active and maintain it consistently to avoid confusion and technical issues.
