What's the difference between Brand & Community campaigns?
There are two different types of campaigns for you to participate in: brand & community campaigns. Both get you involved as a hummingbird in our mission to support the cities and brands we love!
What is a brand campaign?
A Brand Campaign is like a job posting. For example, a company might be looking for 10 hummingbirds to come try out their new happy hour menu at their restaurant. Selected hummingbirds would get a $50 gift card in exchange for an Instagram Reel and story.
Brands pay to get access to our platform where they can post campaigns, select hummingbirds they want to work with, and see all of your content in one dashboard. It's important that if you opt-in and confirm your participation in these campaigns that you follow through. We don't want to let down the businesses engaged in the platform!
What is a community campaign?
Community Campaigns are a way for ALL hummingbirds to get involved in our mission of supporting our cities and the brands we love within them. When these campaigns come up, you get to post about a brand you love, like a winery for National Wine Day or an indie bookstore for Bookstore Day!
Participating in these campaigns enters you for a chance to win fun prizes, like a gift card to spend at the brand you shared about! There's one winner for every campaign.
Community campaigns offer more flexibility in terms of which businesses you can feature. For example, during a National Coffee Day campaign, you could highlight any local coffee shop or brand in your post, compile a list of top coffee orders in your city, or showcase a local coffee brand you enjoy. You can even include businesses from surrounding areas or neighboring towns, as long as they're part of your broader local community.
Keep your eyes peeled for these campaigns happening regularly in your city.

It's important to note that our platform primarily offers perks-based compensation. The value and nature of these perks can vary significantly depending on the campaign and brand involved. When selecting campaigns, you have the flexibility to choose those that align with your interests and offer perks that you find motivating. Always review each campaign's details carefully to understand the expectations before participating.
To get started, ensure your social media accounts are connected to our platform. You can then browse available campaigns, including Community Campaigns which are ideal for beginners as they often have less stipulations. New opportunities are added weekly, so check back often. Don't feel intimidated - you can opt in to as many campaigns as you're interested in.
