Can I take my social posts down?

Edited

We highly encourage you to leave your hummingbirds posts up! Brands often go back to look at your posts when planning their new campaigns, and they can't do so if your posts are gone.

Likewise, your followers can't go back to look up details of your experience if it is no longer there. To ensure your content remains visible and accessible, you must keep your posts publicly visible on your profile for at least six months. This practice helps maintain accurate metrics tracking for the sponsoring brands and ensures you fulfill your obligations as a hummingbird content creator.

If you accidentally archive or remove a sponsored post, promptly unarchive or repost it to maintain compliance with campaign requirements. Regularly check your profile to confirm that posts are still active and visible. However, if you like to clean up your social media pages after the six month period, you may do so, unless otherwise specified by the campaign.

If you're participating in a brand partnership campaign and want to share the content on additional social media platforms beyond those specified in the original requirements, you're generally allowed to do so. However, make sure to follow the campaign guidelines across all platforms, including required hashtags, mentions, and disclosures. If requested, provide links to your posts on these additional platforms to the Hummingbirds HQ team by emailing us at help@hummingbirds.com so we can share your extra work with the brand!
