Why can't I see campaigns that my friends saw?
Understanding Campaign Visibility
You may have noticed that some campaigns don’t appear on your dashboard even though other hummingbirds have expressed interest in them. This is due to the high level of interest some campaigns receive shortly after they go live. We aim to ensure a smooth experience by limiting campaign visibility once enough great-fit hummingbirds have expressed interest.
Why Do Campaigns Close Quickly?
Certain campaigns, especially those featuring popular brands, can reach capacity within hours. For example, for a campaign that goes live Tuesday night, it could receive 5x the number of interested hummingbirds compared to the number of available spots. When this happens, we close the campaign to prevent additional hummingbirds from getting excited about an opportunity that is no longer available - because even if you're a great fit, we won't be able to select you this time and would rather you express interest in a future campaign so we have the chance to select you!
How to Increase Your Chances of Seeing Open Campaigns
To maximize your chances of expressing interest before campaigns fill up, consider the following tips:
Check Available Campaigns on Tuesday Evenings or Wednesday Mornings
Campaign newsletters go out on Tuesday evenings, and many brands aim to launch their campaigns by this deadline. This means Tuesday night and Wednesday morning are prime times to find new opportunities.Check Back Throughout the Week
While most campaigns go live on Tuesdays, we often have a smaller number launching on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. These may fill over the weekend and never appear in the newsletter, so it’s worth checking periodically.
Our Goal: A Fair and Efficient Process
We understand that missing out on campaigns can be frustrating, but our goal is to ensure that as many hummingbirds as possible have a great experience. By shutting off interest when campaigns reach capacity, we help minimize disappointment and streamline the selection process.
